2023 Team Camp

Join us for Team Camp on August 4th and 5th!

We will meet at 10:30am at RHS and head to Lake Aurora. Transportation will be provided and driven by our coaches. Players will be in housing with their teammates and a female chaperone(s).

**Bring a packed lunch with you for the ride to Lake Aurora**

During the camp, players will have the opportunity to bond with their teammates as they participate in planned team-building exercises and fun-filled competition. These include challenging high ropes and low ropes courses to boost their confidence and camaraderie, an evening by the campfire, hayride with teammates and meals together. Moreover, Coach Amanda will conduct sessions on mental conditioning, helping the players build a strong and focused mindset.

To ensure a focused experience and foster an environment of connection, we have set some team camp guidelines. Firstly, phones will not be allowed during the camp, as we aim to encourage genuine interactions and minimize distractions. We will be collecting them upon arrival and returning them before we head back to RHS. Our team photographer will capture all the special moments, and pictures will be uploaded to the RHS Lady Rams Instagram and Facebook pages.

• Each player is requested to bring only one backpack, along with their bedding (consisting of a pillow, twin sheet, and a blanket (or sleeping bag)
• A one piece swimsuit or a rash guard/t-shirt will be needed for water-related activities

To maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere, we want to remind all players to refrain from using foul language and to respect both the facility and the coaches/chaperones.

Above all, we expect everyone to treat each other with kindness and consideration.

Lastly, we must stress that all school rules apply during the retreat. Any violation of these rules will result in immediate dismissal and a return home.

With an emphasis on team-building and Rams spirit, we are confident that this Team Camp will be an experience that impacts our players and program for years to come.
